Over Joy Whale and bird songs, waves and wind are large parts of the accompaniement to this Mantra Music collection from New Zealand. Add to this bamboo flute, violin, accapela and accompanied vocals and you have a unique and flowing album. Three of the tunes are taken from traditional Celtic melodies. |
Eternal Waves This album is light, sweet and relaxing, composed and performed by leading Norweigan guitarist Sukhadeva with tunes such as "Tranquil Garden" and "Invisible Touch." His light and deft jazz guitar is accompanied by a group of vocalists including Dada Nabhaniilananda. The title track sometimes moves me to tears with its deep mystical feel. |

Magic Word Dada Sarvabhodananda has a moving voice that evokes deep emotion when he sings. He is known internationally for his live kiirtan performances, and on this album his favorite tunes are recorded with a jazzy upbeat style in a San Fransisco, California studio. |
Era Dynamic This album IS dynamic! Joyful, ethno-musical, complex tunes that burst with energy and feeling. Jyoshna is InnerSong's most prolific musician and this recent album documents her musical study and travel from flamenco in Spain to ecstatic live kiirtans in ancient Indian villages. Includes two songs mixed with kiirtans. |

Saungiitainjali: Romantic and original, this collection of 8 Mantra Music tunes and 2 songs displays the heartfelt devotion of a group of young monk and nun trainees, and the depth of their many hours of meditation. The tunes are singers are varied, and the deep feeling of the music shines through despite a rather blurry mix down. (2003) |
